Mindful Vinyasa

  • Rooted Wellness Company 155 Broadway Road Dracut, MA, 01826 United States (map)

About the Class

Mindful Vinyasa is a moderately-paced practice that prioritizes connection with the breath, functional alignment (exploring how we can make each pose work in YOUR unique body) and sensing how we feel in a pose so that we can develop the skills of interception (understanding and feeling what's going on inside your body) and proprioception (your body's ability to detect its movement and position in space - a key component in balance and injury prevention).

In this class we will work to build our strength, flexibility, and balance through various movement modalities. In addition to traditional yoga poses we’ll periodically be including self myofascial release techniques and Qi Gong forms to challenge our bodies and have fun exploring movement in new ways. If you want to flow but at a pace that allows for exploration and moving with intention and attention this is the class for you!

All levels, all welcome!
