About the Workshop
What Is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is an ancient meditative practice that can be traced as far back as 1000 BC. Sometimes referred to as 'Yogic Sleep,' the benefits of Yoga Nidra are many, including:
Relief of stress, anxiety, and overwhelm
Improved sleep quality and reduced insomnia
Enhanced concentration and mental clarity
Improved mood, happiness, and well-being
What to Expect
After relaxing breath work and restorative yoga poses to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system (rest, heal, renew), you will be guided on a beautiful meditative journey through the Koshas, progressively deeper layers of consciousness, leading to a state of deep relaxation between wakefulness and sleep. This state of complete relaxation helps us release unhelpful physical or emotional patterns, habits, and other tensions we may carry. You will leave feeling rested, relaxed, and peaceful.
