About the Workshop
Experience deep relaxation and healing through the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra and restorative yoga, designed to help you connect with your inner self, release stress, and rejuvenate body, mind, and soul.
Yoga nidra is an ancient yogic practice that encourages deep relaxation of the physical, emotional and mental bodies. When these aspects of ourselves relax we are able to dive beneath the surface of our experience to explore what lies within us. When yoga nidra is paired with restorative yoga the physical body is offered opportunity to unwind and enter into a state of receptive awareness.
This workshop will provide the practitioner an opportunity to completely relax, unravel traumas and connect with the deepest and most sacred scared aspect of ourselves.

Meet Jennifer Smith
I started my yoga journey 25 years ago as a teenager when I sought yoga as a means of exercise. I mostly practiced vinyasa styles that worked the body hard and fast. Later in my twenties, I turned to yoga as a means to help cope with challenging life experiences. I learned and practiced pranayama and meditation along with asana and developed a more holistic approach to yoga that ultimately helped keep my head above water when times were really tough. I began to understand the deep physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits of yoga, which became deeply rooted in my daily life and continues to be my anchor today.
I believe in the powers of the eight limbs of yoga and have been immensely changed by this practice. I truly love sharing the beauty of this practice with others and aim to construct classes that are accessible to all, drawing from different types of practices to create a well-rounded class that leaves everyone with a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around us.
Most importantly, I continue to be a student of yoga and a seeker of truth.
