About the Workshop
This Vibrant & Peaceful Refresher workshop combines the powerful practices of Kundalini Yoga with the healing tones of the gong. Kundalini Yoga is considered one of the most comprehensive yoga traditions, incorporating meditation, mantra, physical exercises, and breathing techniques.
The focus of this practice is on self-awareness and delivering an experience of your highest consciousness. Through regular practice, Kundalini Yoga works quickly to move a person through what needs clearing and healing. In this workshop, you will engage in a combination of breath, movement, and mantra, followed by a session where the healing tones of the gong are used to promote deep relaxation and peace.
What to Bring:
Comfortable clothing suitable for yoga practice
Personal yoga mat (if preferred)
Water bottle
Any personal yoga accessories you may need (blankets, cushions, etc.)
Please note that Rooted Wellness Company has some yoga props available for use during the workshop.

Meet Your Host, Julia
"How you do anything is how you do everything." This philosophy has guided Julia's yoga practice, which began in 2002, and her teaching career since 2005. Although she obtained a B.A. in Physical Education, her path deviated due to injuries sustained from playing Rugby in college. Finding gym workouts mundane and aggravating to her injuries, Julia discovered yoga, which provided the healing and fulfillment she sought.
Julia has practiced various styles of yoga over the years and loves to bring an eclectic mix to her classes. Each class reflects the energy of the moment, and Julia enjoys infusing fun and lightness into challenging poses.
Her yoga education commenced with a 200-HR training and study under Taylor and Phillipe Wells. Since then, she has learned from many remarkable teachers. In 2014, Julia completed a 500-HR training with Daniel Orlansky and others. She is also a Reiki Master-Teacher, empowering others to channel healing energy.
