More About Vicky
Vicki Garino is a Board Certified Ayurveda Health Counselor, Yoga teacher (E-RYT 500 with over 3700 hours of teaching experience), mindfulness teacher, and former studio owner (Discover the Wonders Yoga 2012-2024). Vicki studied Ayurveda at the Boston School of Ayurveda and earned her 500-hour Yoga teacher certification at Sacred Seeds Yoga School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts - Music Education from Umass Lowell, and a Master of Music - Conducting from Southern Oregon University. She works full time as a middle school band director. Friends consider her to be a bit of a “Renaissance Woman,” proficient in the kitchen, with a sewing machine, in DIY, on stage, and more.
A creative soul, Vicki is an accomplished musician with a Master’s degree in conducting. A classically trained flutist, she has been a middle school band director for 30 years. She is a skilled vocalist with experience performing with various groups singing rock, pop, R&B, blues, and jazz. Vicki loves food and is equally creative in the kitchen, composing both simple and elaborate meals with wholesome ingredients.
